Here are some of the items that have been
made during this year's teaching - from September 2009
Chris designed this quilt herself and made
her own templates
We have been working using the Boutis
method and whole cloth quilting this year and here are some examples
Rosemary made this
wonderful initial cushion using Boutis technique
Many of the students decided to make a
double wedding quilt
Bet made this kingsize quilt for her ruby wedding - it
was hand pieced and hand quilted!! She also made quilted cushions with
her and her husband's initials.
Jacquie made this as a wedding present - I hope B
and G appreciated all the hard work! It was hand Pieced and hand quilted
Sue made this very fresh looking double wedding ring
quilt - it was machine pieced and hand quilted
Chris decided to make one to "decorate" her bed - hand
pieced and hand quilted

Pauline was a complete beginner last
September and has made her first quillow

This table runner, which features
Australian fabric, was made by Pinkie and sent to her friend in Australia -
I'm sure she was very pleased with it

Rosemary's wallhanging started by using the Ricky Tim's
Convergence quilt method and then appliqué was added
Lots of bags and cushions have been made
