Get to Know Your Sewing Machine

Give your self a day learning about your sewing machine, and finding out what you can make it do!!

Perhaps there are functions that you are not getting the best from. We shall cover appliqué, free motion stitching, couching and lots more

Stitch and Chat Day

Friday 26th March 11am - 5pm

cost £10 for the day

Spend a day stitching and chatting, with no interruptions from the phone, housework etc. This is a day when you bring what ever you want to work on – this can be hand or machine. If you are going to use a machine, let me know so that I can arrange the tables near plugs. I shall be available if you need any help

There will be tea and coffee available all day – biscuits in the morning and cakes in the afternoon, but please bring your own packed lunch. There will be a raffle with proceeds going to the Heart of Kent Hospice.

Machine Quilting

Friday 16th April - Chart Sutton Village Hall

Saturday 17^th April 2010 - Ditton Community Centre

Spend the day learning how to machine quilt.

You will learn how to quilt using your walking foot and how to free machine quilt

Lace Flowers, Hearts and Butterflies

Friday 7th May 2010 - Chart Sutton Village Hall

Saturday 8^th May 2010 - St Nicholas Church Hall

Learn how to make lace flowers, hearts and butterflies using free machine embroidery.

These are wonderful to apply to bags, quilts etc. etc.

Mondays 1pm - 3.30pm ~~ Chart Sutton Village Hall - £5.00 per session

Tuesdays 7pm - 9pm ~~ Ditton Community Centre - £4.50 per session - full at the moment, but you can put your name on my waiting list
